One of Jodie Macpherson’s passions in life is to write positive and inspiring stories for children. Born in Newcastle, Australia her versatility has enabled her to complete an extensive career in nursing and also primary school teaching.

Her new book “My Evening Star” resonated from her fascination with the stars and from her nightly search for this dazzling phenomenon. This star which is actually the planet Venus, has always gave her a positive attitude to life and Jodie wanted other children to experience the joy of star gazing – to find their own special star – and wonder at the joys of our galaxy.
